Out of power!
I just wanted to send this photo, freshly taken form the Typhoon that sweept over the city, to our former prime minister, Göran Persson, who's been ruin the country for about half my life.
I want this tree to symbolize the hugeness and the amazing power Göran persson has had for the past 10 years.
Even a big (and fat) tree will eventually fall!

Ja,det känns som om ett stort fett träd fallit ner på marken. Det krävdes mycket kraft, men nu är det i alla fall nere. Vi har 4 ljusa år framför oss!
You seem very pleased, but the change is only very Moderate.
Dear Lee...
nternational media and Swedish media are very moderate with the whole victory thing. In the beginning, we won’t feel that we’ve changed the parliament. But within two year, we’ll definitely feel that.
First of all, the Swedish economy is in full bloom now. Imagine how much it would bloom without the so called welfare state. People are simply disappointed about the fact that their tax money isn’t really used to provide god medical care, god schools and any incetivites to work. If people start to pay for the service they use, then the tax money would be used more efficient (when people think that “it’s free since they don’t have to pay for medical care” then they overuse the system and not efficiently).
The change that I hope to se is a lower unemployment rate. Unemployed people will get 60 % of their former income instead of 80%. That creates incetivives to get a job (some people reject “bad” jobs because it doesn’t pay off to work).
The problem with a “welfare system” is that many people overuse it in many ways. The welfare system will not be eliminated totally but it will be changed. So far, Sweden has been a country for lazy people to live in. But not anymore!
